Criteria 2
From my survey I found out my audience is round 16-20 year olds. This means I can use violence etc in the game and not worry about age ratings as much.but maybe not 18+ since theres some below that so probally a 16+ is a good age.
A majority of my audience are male with 90% of the survey being male and 10% being female. This means I need to cator towards more male things which is usally violence and swearing. Female audiences might prefere pretty things or cutness which isnt what I'm going to use since most of my target audience seems to be male. This could be reflected in the enviroment by destroyed cars or corpses on the floor.
Out of my game genre's it was a draw between Hack and Slash , MMORPG and Sandbox. This shows I need to use elements of these type of games in mine. The sandbox genre could include things such as open world and maybe do what you want with objectives aswell. The MMORPG could mean you have a character to level up or maybe you get the missions by yourself or you can choose to not do them atall. Hack and slash could contribute towards my combat system and maybe copy it in some ways. If I look at different games in these genre's I could use the environment in that to influence me. For example in a game like Minecraft which is sandbox theres multiple "biomes" like snowy , jungle ect so I could use a range in my environment depending on the area of the map.

Again a majority of people who completed the survey play more than 6 hours a week so they obviously have played a lot of games and is good feedback since they know what games are good and arnt. This means I can trust me feedback and will help me get a better understanding of what hardcore gamers want.
People seem to enjoy open world levels more like in skyrim or minecraft. This means my level has to be open world for people to explore and walk around in. This is key to my level being successful so I need to have it open in some sort of way whether it requires me to have keys to unlock new area's to use or have some inside area's for storyline but outside for exploring.
90% of people thing the storyline is important so I will need to commentate my story good and make it enjoyable and interesting. This is very important information so I will have to concentrate on storyline and make sure its perfect. The main thing to make a storyline good is to be able to feel what the character feels and feel like your making a difference. The storyline has a huge affect to the environment since it could be set in a certain country or house etc.
People prefere multiplayer in a game but depending on if I can do that or not will be if I include it or not. But I will mainly focus on the singleplayer. I don't think multiplayer is possible but to add multiplayer features like leaderboards could be important to make it competitive in a way.The environment could be used to make a level harder to get a lower score etc.
From the information I got it seems that people are playing a range of games from sport to hack and slash to F2P's so the information doesnt really help out that much. This could help by using features from most games but this is best to use the same people to test the game since each person likes a majority so they will be open minded about it all.
Finally people thought that music is needed to help set the atmosphere so I will have to inlcude good music. It will be hard to include music which is both copyright free and fits the mood within the game so I will have to work hard to make it fit since it seems important.
(Pass for survey monkey is dillon123 and user is zdillz or zdillaz
All the graphs just clearly show how there is mostly correlation between the results and that one answer is mostly
